Drop-In Chess: Variant Night
🗓️ First Wednesday: Beginner’s Night.
New to chess or just rusty? Come learn the ropes in a low-pressure environment. A dedicated chess teacher will be there every week to walk you through the basics, openings, and answer questions.
Chess Veterans welcome too, just be nice!
🗓️ Second Wednesday: Classic Chess Meetup.
No theme—just good old-fashioned chess. Casual play, open tables, all skill levels.
🗓️ Third Wednesday: Variant Night.
Get weird with it. We’ll rotate through fun chess variants like:
🌀 Fischer Random / Chess960 – Shuffle that back rank! We’ll post the position on Instagram the night before.
🧠🤝 Hand & Brain – Partner up. The “brain” names a piece type, the “hand” chooses which one and where it goes.

MURDER MYSTERY: You Only Die Once
At his exclusive vineyard and winery, noted Canadian financier Michael Saturn hosts a gala party for the launch of his latest creation “NFT Wine” - Non-Fungusible Table Wine - table wine guaranteed never to get corked or go sour. So when he’s found dead among the vines, an uproar occurs among his guests. It seems some of them are here to obtain mysterious Formula X which goes into NFT Wine - because it’s not just the secret to the longer lasting wine, but to longer lasting life! Now their host is dead, the formula is missing, and the guests are concerned - who could be the killer and who has the secret Formula now?

Due to table size we are limiting team size at 6 people max with teams of 2 or fewer receiving that glorious +1.
And yes this is an all ages show so if you don't have a sitter, no worries!!
